Adele left emotional after partner Rich detailed traumatic childhood in memoir

Rich Paul is known for being the CEO of Klutch Sports Group as well as one of the most powerful sports agents.

However, things didn’t always go smoothly for the star, who spoke about his traumatic start in life in his upcoming memoir, Lucky Me: A Memoir of Changing the Odds.

In his memoir, Paul describes the deep trauma of having a mother who struggled with drug addiction and sometimes wouldn’t return home for days on end.

It was these deep dives into his childhood which mostly resonated with his partner of more than two years, Adele.

In an interview with People, Rich said of Adele’s response to his book: “It was very emotional.

“I think a lot of it probably hit home, so yeah, it was a difficult read [for her].”

She also had an absentee father who only resurfaced when her career took off in her 20s.

“He was the reason I didn’t fully understand what it means to be in a loving, loving relationship with somebody.”

Adele has driven speculation also in recent months how she and Rich may have secretly tied the knot.

While doing her Weekends With Adele gigs in Las Vegas, a fan screamed out, as seen in a TikTok: “Will you marry me.”

Adele quipped back: “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.”

The fan replied: “Can you try?”

However, Adele was having none of it and clapped back: “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”

Adele and Rich first went public with their relationship in July 2021 when they were seated courtside together at an NBA game.
