Adeles son Angelo, nine, is heard on new album in tearful exchange with mum

A track on Adele’s upcoming album includes a heartfelt conversation with her son Angelo, nine.

Adele has been extremely candid about her divorce from her son’s father, Simon Konecki, and how she was concerned about how Angelo would handle their separation.

On one of her tracks, My Little Love, that features on her album 30 which is set for release Friday 19 November Angelo can be heard telling his mum that he loves her.

Adele asks Angelo: “Tell me you love me”, to which the youngster replies: “I love you, one million per cent. I feel like you like me too.”

According to the Mirror, she adds: “You know Mummy doesn’t like anyone else like I like you, right?”

In the recorded mobile phone clips, Adele also tearfully explains to Angelo: “Mummy’s been having a lot of big feelings lately, I’m confused and I don’t know what I’m doing.”

She also tells her son: “I love your dad because he gave you to me.”

In a separate voice note, Adele chats to herself and discusses how anxious she’s feeling.

“I’ve had a bad day, I’m very anxious,” the mum of one says. “I feel very paranoid, stressed, and I’m hungover which never helps. I feel like today is the first day since I left him that I actually feel lonely — and I never do. I just feel really lonely and frightened, and I’m worried I might feel like this a lot.”

During her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Adele described being a single mum as “a process”, and discussed how shefinds it difficult to be away from Angelowhen he’s spending time with his dad.

The Easy On Me songstress said: “It's a process. You know, the process of a divorce, the process of being a single parent.

"The process of not seeing your child every single day wasn’t really a plan that I had when I became a mum.

"The process of arriving for yourself every day, turning up for yourself every single day and still running a home, running a business."

While Adele and Simon have gone their separate ways, she insists thatshe still trusts her son’s father “with (her) life”, and credited him for keeping her on the right path when she was younger.

She told Oprah: “I think Simon probably saved my life to be honest, and came at such a moment where the stability that him and Angelo have given me, no one else would ever been able to give me.

“Especially at that time in my life I was so young and I think I would have got a bit lost in it all of it.

"I could have easily have gone down some dodgy paths and self-destructive by being so overwhelmed by it, and he came in, and he was stable, the most stable person I have ever had in my life up until that point."
