Ashley Cain holds back tears as sky illuminates orange as a ‘sign’ of daughter Azaylia following her tragic death

Ashley Cain was seen with tears in his eyes as he revealed how he “couldn’t have wished for a more magical evening” after the sky turned orange as a "sign" of his daughter Azaylia who died following her brave battle leukaemia.

The heartbroken dad described how “there is no such thing as good and bad days” only “bad and worse” after he tragically lost his eight month old daughter, Azaylia Diamond Cain, to a rare form of leukaemia last month.

Ashley took to his Instagram story to share the illuminated sky over the house he shares with Azyalia’s mum Safiyya Vorajee, who has struggled to sleep following her daughter's death, before holding back the tears after seeing the poignant “sign”.

The former Ex On The Beach star posted a picture looking of himself looking up at the sky, captioned: “There is no such thing as good and bad days at the moment. There’s bad and worse. But after another painful day, asking and praying for Azaylia to give me a sign that she’s ok… This happened tonight!

“I sat on the grass outside the front of my house at peace and in awe of the beauty in front of me. Not only did she give us an orange sky and a beautiful heart shaped break in the clouds… But she peeped through herself so we could see her beautiful face.

“I couldn’t have wished for a more magical evening and through so much pain, she’s still bringing me the glimpses of happiness that I need!

“I cry so much at the moment… But tonight baby, tonight I smile! I LOVE YOU CHAMP.”

Ashley filmed the orange sky which also saw clouds in the shape of a heart and angel wings.

He penned: “I’ve been asking Azaylia all day for a sign and tonight… And down the road just blue cloudy skies

“After another incredibly tough day this brought me so much happiness. I love you Champ.

“I cry a lot at the moment but tonight baby, tonight I smile.”

Taking to his Instagram story, Ashley had tears in his eyes as he spoke to his 1.9million followers.

“It’s a mad time and I can’t really explain it and for days and for days I have been running and I have staying outside as much as possible.

“I have been running I have been biking and I have been looking up to the sky just asking her to give me a sign and tonight she gave me that

“It made me so happy and even now she knows how to put a smile on my face and that has given me strength, courage and inspiration now to keep ploughing forward I love you baby.”

The former reality star later shared a clip of him running, adding: “You think I ain’t going on a run now? You must be mad. I am pumped. I looked up to the sky tonight and it’s getting me all that energy all the power, all the strength I needed.

“An hour boxing session this morning, 50km bike ride this afternoon, hour swim this evening and now a 5km run.

“I am going to take this little girl everywhere. The top of every mountain to the bottom of every valley along every road across every ocean I am going to take her there.

“North, south, east, west, corner to corner, pillar to post I am going to take her there! Let’s go champ, let’s go champ.”

Safiyya also shared a collection of pictures to her Instagram and described how Sunday was “one of [her] worst days”.

She shared a heart-warming picture with Ashley looking up to the sky along with a sweet picture of her daughter.

Safiyya penned: "Wow Azaylia I see you. Everyday is an incredibly tough day, but today was one of my worst days.

“I have prayed so hard today for a sign from you I gave you mine & you delivered the most incredible visual for me and daddy.

“Me and daddy took a moment to appreciate the sky and the beautiful love hearts and angel wings you created along with the letter A!

“And your beautiful face, I am such a proud mummy, you have filled me right up to the top again Azaylia.

“Thank you I love you, you really have made me so happy and smile tonight your my guardian Angel and you have showed that many of times but tonight I know your always here I love you.”

Ashley commented: “Even now she lifts us up when we need her the most. She is incredible and I feel so blessed to be her daddy.

“After the day that we’ve had, she still knows how to put a smile on our faces. I love her so much!”
