Beyoncé Dominates Music Categories At NAACP Image Awards

Beyoncé dominated the NAACP Image Awards this year by taking home four awards, the most by anyone in the music field.

Beyoncé won outstanding female artist for “Black Parade” and outstanding music video for “Brown Skin Girl.” She shared the latter award with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, as well as WizKid and SAINt JHN.

Beyoncé shared two awards with Megan Thee Stallion for outstanding duo, group or collaboration (contemporary) and outstanding hip hop/rap song for their smash hit “Savage.”

Meanwhile, Chloe x Halle won two awards for outstanding duo, group or collaboration (traditional) for “Wonder What She Thinks of Me” and outstanding soul/R&B song for “Do It.”

The NAACP Image Awards are an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.

Queen Bey also won four Grammy this year, which made her the most decorated Grammy artist in history with a total of 28 awards.
