Britney Spears blows off steam in workout amid conservatorship drama

Britney Spears blew off some steam with a good workout session hours after the latest court hearing in her ongoing conservatorship battle.

The Toxic singer invited her personal trainer round to her Californian mansion on Wednesday to help her relieve some tension.

With the boxing gloves on, Britney threw some mean jabs in her home gym and used her trainer as the punching bag.

‘OH THE PUNCH 🥊 in this video 💋💋😉😉 !!!!’ the pop star told her Instagram followers.

She added: ‘I just like the sound of it !!! PS …. so glad we both got tested negative for COVID so my trainer could come over for a good workout session💥 !!!’

It’s been months since Britney treated her followers to one of her workout videos, instead choosing to spread positivity with beach posts and dancing clips in recent weeks.

Yesterday, the Gimme More hitmaker’s lawyers appeared in court after filing documents requesting that her father, Jamie Spears, be removed from her conservatorship.

Jamie has been in control of Britney’s life, career and finances for the past 12 years following her mental health episode, where she was placed in an involuntary psychiatric hold.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny heard that Britney is ‘afraid’ of her father.

Her attorney Samuel D Ingham III said: ‘My client has informed me that she is afraid of her father. She will not perform again if her father is in charge of her career.’

Ingham also said that Britney, 38, had not spoken to her father in some time, and that she is a ‘high-functioning conservatee’ who deserves notice of the actions her dad is taking, which he has declined to provide.

Britney was not in attendance at the hearing, with attorneys and parents attending via phone and video call.

Outside the court, #FreeBritney protests took place with a large gathering of fans holding up signs calling for the singer to be freed from the conservatorship.
