Cardi B boasted about hosting 37 family members at her mansion for Thanksgiving but it didn’t go down too well with her followers.
The Bodak Yellow rapper invited her large family over to the sprawling Atlanta home she shares with husband Offset and daughter Kulture last Thursday for the holiday.
In a video clip, the couple are seen dancing among a large group in the entrance hall of their home with no social distancing.
Cardi added fuel to the outrage by tweeting last night: ‘12kids and 25 adults over the holidays. It was lit !!’

She was immediately slammed for seemingly behaving irresponsibly during the coronavirus pandemic, which is still rampant in the US where more than 260,000 people have died from the virus.
One of Cardi’s followers hit back: ‘I hope it was worth it for you and those 25 adults and 12 kids. i truly hope it was because i can promise you it’s not worth it to everyone else who is affected by your poor choices aka the healthcare workers who you will run to when you’re sick.’
Another said: ‘Doesn’t sound like something to be proud of.’
‘Why are you proud of not following CDC guidelines and making healthcare workers jobs even harder? I love you but this isn’t something to be proud of,’ another weighed in.
One critic added: ‘I love you sweetheart but your decisions are the reasons why we can’t seem to be getting out of this pandemic, this irresponsibility impacts all of us! Much luv to you and your family tho [sic].’
Cardi, 28, then issued an apology after catching wind of the backlash and explained: ‘Sorry my bad wasn’t trying to make nobody feel bad.I just had my family in my home for the first time and it felt so good & uplifted me .I spent soo much money getting every1 tested but it felt worth it.I wasnt trying to offend no1 [sic].
