Frankie Bridge shares emotional reunion with sons Parker and Carter after Himalayas trek for CoppaFeel

Former The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge has shared the emotional moment she was reunited with her sons Parker and Carter after spending a nine days away trekking the Himalayas for breast cancer charity CoppaFeel.

The 30 year old mum of two shared two snaps with her 1million followers, the first of which showed six year old Parker and four year old Carter holding their homemade sings up while stood at arrivals at Heathrow airport.

The second snap shows Frankie looking emotional as she embraces her two sons. Writing in the caption, she said: “After 2 days travelling … this was just the welcome home I needed one lucky Mummy! The best hugs ever!!! #mum #family #boys #love”.

Frankie, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, 39, joined Giovanna Fletcher, Olivia Buckland, Alex Bowen, Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha and Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown as they spent nine days trekking and camping to raise money for CoppaFeel.

After reaching the end of the gruelling trek on 31 October, Frankie shared an emotional video on her Instagram as she broke down in tears.

Speaking in the video, Frankie welled up as she said: “Woo it’s all finished. We’ve had such a big lead up to this. Everyone did it together, everyone ended it together and everyone’s so happy and proud of themselves.

“It’s so emotional, they all gave me three cheers and then it set me off.”

She then added: “Everyone’s aching, everyone’s in pain in good spirits, and I never thought I’d say this but I’m actually sad, I’m sad that it’s the last day. Hopefully I’ll return to myself by the last day”.
