Happy Days star Gavan O’Herlihy, who played Chuck Cunningham in the hit series, has died. The Irish actor’s death was confirmed earlier today by his brother.

The star died back on September 15 in Bath.

Cormac shared the news with The Hollywood Reporter.

While he declined to share cause of death, he did say it was not Covid related.

Gavan was well known for his brief stint as Chuck in the sitcom, as well as many other big screen roles.

He first appeared in the film A Wedding back in 1978.

Here, he played the former lover of Amy Stryker’s bride.

As well as this, he was known as one of the bad guys in James Bond film Never Say Never Again.

He played Jack Petachi in the 1983 classic.
