Gemma Collins says shes absolutely sick of weight struggle and refuses to get on scales

Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins has shared her despair at going through her weight loss struggles as she battles with PCOS and an under active thyroid.

The 41 year old, who recently revealed she thinks she's "cursed" and called a spiritual healer for help, took to her GC podcast to open up about her woes with her thousands of fans.

Gemma has been losing weight for some time after undertaking a lifestyle change, where she exercises regularly and eats relatively clean without being too restrictive.

But on her recent holiday to Tel Aviv with her fiancé Rami Hawash, 48, where the pair "were all in love again", Gemma confessed that she ate loads of delicious foods, including vine leaves, hummus and falafel.

"Basically I probably wacked on, no joke… seven to 10 pounds, even a stone," she revealed. "I'm scared to get on the scales, I refuse to get on the scales."

Gemma's recent back injury, where she's been diagnosed with a trapped nerve, means she hasn't been able to workout. To compensate, she's been trying to focus more on her goal of healthy eating.

She shared: "What I want to talk to you about is goal setting, in life it's good to have that vision of what you want to be or do.

"I think January, February, March is a time where I certainly need to crack on and start doing my fitness and get some of this weight off."

Expressing her frustrations about her weight loss journey, she continued: "I'm absolutely sick of it, as you all know I struggle with my weight as I have PCOS and under active thyroid and it's a constant battle for me all the time."

Gemma, who recently posed in a tiger print swimsuit following her emotional trip, added: "When my back went I was like I really need to lay off the goodies."

The star's back injury isn't the only health issue she's suffered recently though as during her holiday abroad, Gemma revealed her eardrum burst suddenly.

She shared a snap of herself smiling with her doctor as she wrote: "Thank you so much to this wonderful doctor in Israel who helped me today when my eardrum burst!!!

"It could only happen to me. This doctor was wonderful."

She then posted another snap with the doctor, as she rocked a multi-coloured wrap cardigan over a white top and jeans. She went makeup-free for the snap and her blonde hair was worn loose.

Gemma wrote alongside the snap: "Everyone in Haifa has been so kind and welcoming. I am now off to Tel Aviv," before asking for recommendations in her next post.

She's since returned to the UK and has been sharing her love for soon-to-be-husband Rami and her stepson Tristan.
