Jake is currently busy getting ready to bring his play Sea Wall/A Life to Broadway.

He recently explained how he interacts with the audience during the show.

“I go into the audience at points…Sometimes it’s very emotional; we laugh a lot, but there have been people who I can hear that are moved or crying, and we talk to each other. It’s not improvisation as much as it is acknowledging that we’re all in a place with no judgment, where we can all just be open to it,” Jake explained on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Sea Wall/A Life begins performances on July 26th at the Hudson Theatre.
