Khloé Kardashian Says She Wants to Be Strong, Not Skinny

When it comes to gym goals, Khloé Kardashian is more focused on bulking up than slimming down, apparently. In a new interview with People, Khloé talked about working out and what she wants to get out of her gym time and said that, for her, it’s all about the muscle.

“I like muscle. I know some girls, they just want to be slender, but I like to be muscular,” she explained. “[I like to] strengthen my body. I don’t just want to be skinny, I want to be really strong.”

Khloé routinely documents her workouts and gym progress on Instagram, and, TBH, the receipts lineup with what she had to say about why she exercises. Here are a few pictures Khloé has posted in the last years or so showing off the progress she’s been making on sculpting out her upper body with the help of her trainer, coach Joël Bouraïma:

And here’s what she had to say about her specific body goals:

“Everyone has their own aspirations and body goals, but I love when I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I have new muscle definition,’ or I finally have that tricep cut that I’ve always wanted.”

This all makes Khloé’s latest partnership (and reason for gushing about her workout routines and goals to People) make a lot of sense. Khloé just joined smart rowing machine company Hydrow as a brand ambassador. Ofc, anyone who follows her on IG and saw her most recent hype girl post for the company would already know that:

“I absolutely love that you’re able to have the monitor in front of you, and you get to have the experience that you’re on the water,” Khloé told People during her interview about the partnership. “And I just love the diversity of it all in all the different classes and different places you could travel to.”
