Lil Nas X and Gordon Ramsay made paninis together and dreams do come true

Lil Nas X and Gordon Ramsay have made paninis together, and it’s proof that you just have to speak what you want into the universe and let it happen.

Let’s rewind and discuss exactly why this weird culinary pairing happened in the first place.

Lil Nas X fans will be familiar with his song Panini, and the rapper tweeted Gordon last week asking the world’s angriest chef to teach him how to make what is effectively just a fancy hot sandwich, before he leaves London.

Gordon was totally down for getting in the kitchen with him, responding: ‘Name the day…’.

Despite their interaction, nobody seriously thought they would actually go ahead and have a panini lesson together.

So it came as a surprise to everyone when the rapper posted a photo of him and the Hell’s Kitchen chef posing with their creations.

We’re not really sure why the pair of them are holding what appears to be some kind of sword and a small axe, but those paninis sure look tasty…

Aside from making sandwiches, Lil Nas X has been busy making hits – and performing them on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury.

He and Billy Ray Cyrus joined Miley Cyrus on stage last weekend to perform their viral hit Old Town Road in front of the festival crowd.

The song originally came out in December 2018, but gained popularity through the video app TikTok.

As a result of the song’s popularity, Lil Nas X got a recording contract with Columbia records, as well as becoming a number one chart hit.

Despite taking the stage at the summer’s biggest music event, we reckon the highlight of his trip to the UK will definitely be the panini-making session.

Here’s hoping Gordon managed to get through the lesson without yelling obscenities at Lil Nas X though…
