Lisa Riley Instagram: Emmerdale star looks slimmer than ever after 12 STONE weight loss

Lisa Riley, 42, is currently presenting on the Strictly Come Dancing themed P&O cruises and took the opportunity to show off her trim figure as she enjoyed a break. Taking to Instagram, the soap star shared a snap of herself sporting a blue top with her dark tresses pulled back from her face. In view of her 111,000 followers, she captioned the post: “First night off on our @pandocruises @bbcstrictly cruise the Showcases are going to be so EXCITING. “Loving working with @mr_njonesofficial @giada.lini @grazianodiprima @thedebbiemcgee what a beautiful, talented, funny group of people!!!

Fans certainly noticed the actress’ transformation, as one person said: “You look amazing.”

Another person commented: “Oh my god. You look bl**dy amazing! Well done.”

While a third person added: “You look so lovely, all your hard work has paid off.”

The ITV star took part in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2012 and is currently working with the professional dancers on the summer cruise.

Lisa has been open about her fitness journey and used to be size 28, before dropping to a healthy size 12.

The Loose Women panellist credits “sheer hard work, diet and exercise”.

Speaking to The Sun, the actress previously revealed she no longer drinks alcohol or eats any carbs, but has since admitted there are times when she has “bad days”.

She told the publication: “Everyone is bound to have little blips along the way, but don’t see that as failure and a signal to give up – just draw a line under it and move on.

“I had made myself fat by gorging on bread, crisps, crumpets and red wine.

“Once I accepted responsibility for my health, weight and lifestyle it made it easier to take control. You don’t have to have starter, main and pudding.”

The TV presenter said she now eats lots of fruit and vegetables and credits her exercise classes for the weight loss.

She said: “I radically changed my eating habits. I cut out carbs and now eat lots of fresh fruit and veg. I still exercise a lot – Zumba classes and the like.

“And at the beginning I went to boot camp a few times to give me a kick-start.”

Back in 2017, Lisa revealed she had more than a stone worth of saggy skin surgically removed.

She had a camera crew follow her in her self-titled documentary – Lisa Riley’s Baggy Body Club – where she underwent surgery to remove the excess skin last year.
