Lorraine Kelly asks Holly Willoughby about being a ‘sex pot’
Lorraine Kelly has pointed out that she is “so separate” from This Morning star Holly Willoughby, following the news that Phillip Schofield had an “unwise, but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague whilst he was married.
Holly has claimed she knew nothing of the affair, which led to Phillip stepping down from his role as her co-host in May.
Now, ITV presenter Lorraine, 63, has spoken to New! magazine on whether she gave 42-year-old Holly any advice following the “scandal”.
“No, no, honestly, we are so separate,” she claimed, before adding that she hadn’t been at work for some time due to the extended summer break she’s taking.
“No, we’re honestly just getting on with it. Honestly, I can’t really say any more than that!” she explained.

Sources have claimed to The Mirror that Holly has “nothing to hide” in the investigation into ITV, which was organised in the midst of “toxic” workplace allegations at This Morning.
Phillip had earlier admitted to having an affair with a colleague more than 30 years his junior before stepping down, leaving Holly to present with a rotating selection of co-hosts.
Meanwhile, news recently emerged suggesting that Lorraine has out-earned Holly by more than £2 million, according to the Daily Mail.
The enormously popular star now boasts net assets of £3.9 million, according to statements filed in June on behalf of her company Albatel.

However, despite financial successes, there’s been personal pain for Lorraine behind the scenes following the news that her elderly mum Anne, 81, had been taken ill and was admitted to hospital.
The Scottish TV host has not elaborated on her mother’s current condition, but did confirm that she’d been spending time at the hospital and caring for her.
She tweeted: “Having spent a lot of time over the past few days with my mum in @UHMonklands hospital I’ve seen again just how kind, caring, hard working, funny and downright fabulous our NHS workers are.”
The grateful star gushed: “Thank you doesn’t begin to cover it.”
In February, Anne was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome, a condition which prevents the kidneys functioning properly, and she was hospitalised earlier in the year too.
Lorraine has taken some time off from her show, with replacements Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh stepping in during her absence and taking turns to fulfil her role.
In a recent advert, Christine vowed to give viewers “guaranteed sunshine until September”, with a series of segments on fashion, showbiz, celebrity guests, and “stories that matter”.
Lorraine is expected to return to her show in September.
