BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty, 45, has spoken out on social media after suffering from an injury on her run today. While the TV presenter decided to give her fans an update, she also reached out for advice on how to recover quickly.
Tips for a speedy recovery welcome…
Naga revealed she pulled her calf muscle after going on a run, which she said has happened before.
She spoke about her situation by sharing a snap of her adorable cat sitting next to her.
In view of her 35,000 Instagram followers, Naga wrote: “Not sure Missy can help me with a pulled calf muscle after today’s run.
“Hate it when that happens.”
She went on to add: “Tips for a speedy recovery welcome…”
While she recovers, Naga said from now on she will be focusing on stretching after hurting herself.
“In the meantime: More stretching, #themasters & #lazysunday X #beyourbestself #5krun #26mins,” she concluded.
It wasn’t long before many fans waded in to send their best wishes onto the presenter.
One replied: “OUCH! will you be in plaster on Thursdays Breakfast then ?”
Another commented underneath: “Put some ice on it, if it’s no better in five minutes to break the ice up put in in a glass pour a generous measure of gin on it small tonic and a slice of lemon…if pain persists repeat the process until the pain eases.”
“Feet up for next 5 hours to start with and watch The Masters,” a third advised.
“Drinks and snacks served to you as required.”

A fourth went on to say: “Oh no that’s not good heal soon lovely lady.
“I’m off out for a 5k in a mo just getting myself organised!!”
It comes after Naga made a candid admission after heading to the golf course with her partner James Hagger and two of the couple’s friends, including Sir Clive Woodward.
The host took a selfie as they all posed at the camera during their socially-distanced golf game.
She wrote: “Well that was fun!
“Enjoying a fabulous day of socially distanced. There were three winners and one loser… Guess who?”
Fans rushed to tell the host their predictions on who lost, as one said: “Not you Naga!”
Another joked: “Tell me Sir Clive lost?”
