Ollie Locke drops Made In Chelsea bombshell as he’s set to quit show after 11 years

Ollie Locke may be one of the last standing original cast members of Made in Chelsea, but fans will be gutted to hear he could be departing the show closer than we expected.

The show has seen 35 year old Ollie in a number of storylines, including one of which saw him being the first reality TV star to come out on national TV.

The star – who joined the show when he was just 23 years old alongside best friend Binky Felstead – addressed his thoughts about waving goodbye to the E4 series when he spoke to Vicky Pattison on her podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret To.

“This will probably be our last year on Chelsea,” he said – referring to himself and his husband Gareth Locke – to which Vicky replied: “You’ll be a real miss mate.”

“I look at myself and think, I signed my contract when I was 23, I’m now 35, it’s probably a good idea to move on – let the younger people do it," he added.

"Do you miss any of the old cast members?" Vicky asked Ollie, to which he replied: "Well, I imagine you get this question all the time as well, being the in the original Geordie Shore lot.

"It's a big, big deal and everyone loves seeing all of that and Gaz and Charlotte and all that kind of stuff, all in the house together. That's why the reunion is such a big deal."

Ollie – who branded his co-star Miles Nazaire as 'slimy' – added: "I actually did a post on Instagram the other day, saying, 'Who wants to see the OGs back?' and it literally went mental."

Vicky then said: "I know I've seen thousands of comments! But I would f*****g love to see you and Binky back together, tearing up Sloane Square. And it's why the series of Geordie Shore will do so well. People did invest," before Ollie shared: "I agree. That's what people love, but everyone's got kids now. Everyone. Spencer has just had his third child!"

The Geordie Shore star then joked: "I just don't know how Vogue [Williams] keeps popping them out and still look that amazing?! She's a weapon," before Ollie chipped in with: "I don't know what's in the Irish water, but that is f*****g water I could bottle."

He explained further: "She's unbelievable. But yeah, it would be amazing to see all these people back.

"What I also find quite extraordinary is that me and Gareth call it 'Gayde in Chelsea' at the moment because there are seven LGBTQ+ cast members."

Vicky responded in return: "That's amazing though because look at when we started out.

"There was one gay person on The Only Way Is Essex, there was nobody who identified as LGBTQ on Geordie Shore, and I remember it was such a huge storyline for you to come out. So, that is major progress mate."

Opening up on the moment, Ollie confessed: "What we didn't know at the time was, that when I came out on Chelsea as bisexual, I was the first person to come out on national television originally in Britain, ever on reality television.

"It happened on Coronation Street or EastEnders, or whatever, but it never happened on reality [TV]. Reality [TV] wasn't around then."
