Prince William and Harry havent spoken despite staying just half a mile apart

They are usually separated by an eight-hour time difference and an 11 hour flight.

But for this week only Prince Harry and Prince William found themselves just a few minutes walk from one another after the Sussexes returned to the UK, Netflix cameras in tow.

However that doesn't mean the pair have spoken – with Omid Scobie, who is widely seen as the unofficial mouthpiece of Harry and Meghan, confirming there has been no contact.

In his weekly Yahoo column the Royal reporter turned author argued that the decision was Harry's alone. Far from being "snubbed", the Prince, he explained, had not reached out to William, or exchanged any words.

Omid's Royal source told him: “There’s a laughable effort to suggest the [Sussexes] have been shunned." He suggested Harry wanted William to take "accountability".

However the fact the brothers have not spoken appears to confirm reports that William is not willing to have a conversation until after his brother's bombshell memoir is published this summer.

With the Sussexes staying half a mile from the Cambridge family home at Frogmore Cottage, it might have been expected they would connect.

Instead Royal biographer Angela Levin told the Sun : “I think it's likely that Catherine and William will try to avoid any contact with Harry and Meghan until they know the contents of Harry’s memoirs and their Netflix documentary.

“It’s their own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude.”

A source told the Daily Mail : “Trust, particularly at the moment, is a big issue."
