Real Housewives fans blast Mary Cosby over Heather Gay fake swipe

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 trailer

After skipping the season two reunion of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Mary Cosby was not asked back for what would prove to be a lackluster season three.

Fans were perplexed when Bravo asked her back as a “friend of” for season four, considering her controversial church, racist comments, and general lack of interactions with the cast.

Other housewives have been discarded for less.

Regardless, she is back and so are her condescending comments about her co-stars.

Case in point, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Mary went after her co-star Heather Gay, with what fans are calling “vile” and “classless” comments.

Andy, who looked both shocked and perplexed, said he “loves it,” while Ziwe looked just as shocked and gasped: “Mary Cosby!”

But Mary didn’t back down saying she was standing by her “opinion.”

Heather, always quick with a hilarious comeback, used a Seinfeld reference in her response.

“It’s real. And it’s spectacular!” she said under an Instagram post about Mary’s shady comment.

Viewers also came to Heather’s defense.

“Mary is disgusting & vile. The fact she feels so comfortable fat shaming Heather and talking about the cast’s diet is despicable, Team Heather, get Mary off this show,” one fan commented.

“She does know that the average American woman is a size 16 right? Also, Gucci carries up to XXXL and they carry up to 48 which is typically a size 16 in US sizes,” another fan pointed out.

While yet another added, “Mary is just rude. She is not funny. She isn’t ‘keeping it real.’ She’s mean.”

Heather’s co-star Angie Katsanevas offered her support, writing, “One of your most beautiful looks Heather. GG stands for Good time Girl. Made just for you.”

But Mary wasn’t done with her rude comments just yet. As if body-shaming her co-stars wasn’t enough, she came for the network and RHSLC as well.

When Andy asked a viewer’s question about why she chose to return, she replied, “Oh? Why I wanted to come back? To help you guys out. I think so. Is that mean? Andy, you have to tell me if it’s rude.”

Fans can catch Mary and her co-stars when new episodes of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Tuesdays on Bravo.
