Selena Gomez is opening up about some recent comments she made about her past with Disney Channel.
Earlier this month, the 29-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place star said that she “signed my life away to Disney at a very young age and I didn’t know what I was doing.”

“I’m beyond proud of the work that I did with Disney as well. It kind of shaped who I am in a way,” Selena told RadioTimes.com in a joint interview with Steve.
He then added, “I have to jump in because I was there when Selena said that [at the TCA] and it was said in the most light-hearted, funny, jokey way.”
Steve added that what she said has been misinterpreted in the media.
“Sometimes they’ll say she was joking and sometimes they have it as an ominous headline—but it was completely just all in fun,” he shared, then jokingly said, “I’ve signed my life away to Marty Short, you think I like that?”
Did you know that Steve Martin also has a Disney past and it dates back quite a ways!
His first job was actually at Disneyland, where he used to work at Main Street Magic Shop all the back from 1955-1958, before getting another job in 1960 at the Merlin’s Magic Shop in Fantasyland doing magic tricks at the park.
