Krishnan Guru-Murthy revealed he had already sought medical treatment weeks before the show.
The Channel 4 newsreader spoke candidly about his dance training ahead of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and cheekily admitted he has already been to visit a physiotherapist.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press about pre-show injuries, Krishnan chuckled: “I’ve already been to see the physiotherapist but that’s just because I wake up with a sore back anyway.”
The 53-year-old went on to share that his dance partner – which has not yet been revealed to the public – issued him a stark warning during their training.
The broadcaster said they urged him to not think while dancing on the show or otherwise he may not sail through the competition.
