The National have announced the lineup for their second Homecoming Festival to be held in their hometown next year.
Patti Smith and her band, renowned electronic pop duo Sylvan Esso, Of Monsters And Men, Local Natives, Japanese Breakfast, Phosphorescent, Jay Som, former Walkmen singer Hamilton Leithauser, Jay Som, Sudan Archives, Velvet Negroni, Wussy and Triiibe will perform over two nights.
The National will headline the festival with two unique sets on the nights of May 8 and 9 at Smale Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“It’s great to invite our friends and fans to our hometown – the place where we all began our lives as listeners and musicians,” The National drummer Bryan Devendorf said in a statement.
The festival will include a full performance of The National’s 2010 album High Violet.
