The truth about Meghan King Edmonds’ new boyfriend

Meghan King Edmonds and her boyfriend, Christian Schauf, seem to be going strong. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum took to Instagram over the holiday weekend to share a sweet snap of herself and her new sweetheart, revealing that they spent the 4th of July in Wisconsin watching fireworks on the lake.

The couple went Instagram official back in May. “I’ll just say this: I’m happy and looking forward to writing my next chapter,” wrote Edmonds in the caption of an Instagram photo of the pair. How did they meet? “Christian and I connected via one of these dating apps and did the whole ‘quarantine dating’ thing with lots of FaceTiming but I never thought it would go anywhere since he lives in Utah and I live in St Louis and work in Los Angeles,” Edmonds revealed in a blog post.

In spite of the obstacles, the couple eventually decided to meet in person, with their first real-life date kicking off with COVID tests (they were negative) and “a masked airport pickup.” They seem to be doing quite well so far.

Who is Meghan King Edmonds' new boyfriend?

As Edmonds wrote in her blog, Schauf has “accomplished a myriad of fantastic feats in his lifetime,” including “performing 39 tours in Iraq with his band… starting, building, and selling companies… being on Shark Tank and getting funding for his current company, Uncharted Supply Co… running marathons and competing in Ironmans around the world.”

Schauf’s company, according to its website, “was founded to prepare any adventurer for unexpected survival situations.” Schauf was inspired to start Uncharted Supply Co. “after driving through Colorado in the middle of a blizzard and seeing dozens of hapless motorists stranded on the side of the highway, hunkering down for a long, cold night.” He is described on the site as “a serial adventurer, athlete, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.”

As noted by Hollywood Life, he also has a podcast called Life Unchartered. Schauf seems to have quite a variety of talents. “I’ve worked for brands like Harley-Davidson and GoPro, produced documentaries and spend most of my free time adventuring in some of the more extreme environments in the world,” he told Authority Magazine.
