Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 1 KO "Storm Blue"

2021 marks the year that Jordan Brand is giving new life to its ever-mysterious Air Jordan 1 KO. The silhouette — which originally debuted in 1986 — returned to the market earlier this year in its familiar “Chicago” colorway, and now it will be dropping in a fresh “Storm Blue” palette, the latter of which has just been revealed by way of detailed imagery.

The upper halves of these kicks are designed to mimic the shape and materials of the original model from 1986. Canvas is the primary fabric that shapes its base, most of which is filled in with white on the toe boxes, tongues and quarters while “Storm Blue” accents spill onto the forefoot and mid-foot overlays and ankle flaps. Sprinkles of black see their way to the Swooshes, collars, AJKO logos and shoe strings. Tongues are also branded with Nike Air lettering in white and rest against a “Storm Blue” backdrop. The lower section of these sneakers are done up with crisp midsoles and treading that’s dyed with its nominal hue.

Those who are interested in picking up a pair can do so come September 29 for $140 USD via Nike and other retailers.

Elsewhere in the world of sneakers, more images of Travis Scott’s Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat” have emerged.
