The latest edition of Hyperoom officially took place in Shanghai’s Huangpu district from October 7- 13, 2023. For the first time, Hyperoom also opened its doors to the public, where anyone can pop by on a reservation basis to see its curated lineup of emerging talents from around the world.
Hyperoom brands such as GRAILZ, Project G/R, and CARNET-ARCHIVE have presented their latest collections at the limited event, alongside newly joined but also under-the-radar labels like Sillage, Juntae Kim, and PRIX. Synonymous with the previous installment, Helinox also set up a designated area to showcase its newest collection of outdoor gear.
While attendees were welcomed with a plethora of new offerings, archival pieces from well-known fashion designers, brands, and artists were also displayed. Rare garments were sourced from the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, Atypia Archive, Walter Van Beirendonck, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Number (N)ine. Meanwhile, on the art and design front, a handful of Gyuhan Lee’s upcycled-centric pieces can be found alongside Muddycap’s signature chairs.
