Joe Jonas' Words Are Coming Back To Haunt Him as Sophie Turner Reveals a Letter He Wrote About Their UK Move

A letter allegedly written by Joe Jonas may help Sophie Turner‘s case in her lawsuit seeking to move their children to the United Kingdom. After four years of marriage, Jonas and Turner’s marriage has descended into what looks to be a lengthy divorce and child custody battle, and this letter is the latest installment in that saga.

Turner, 27, included the letter from the Jonas Brother’s singer in bombshell court documents filed earlier this week which were obtained by Page Six. Jonas, 34, reportedly penned the letter on June 16 to persuade a homeowner in Oxford, England to sell his house to the former couple.

“When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house,” Jonas wrote to the seller of a $7.5 million estate.

“While many of the houses we viewed met this criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning [redacted], we experienced a sense of magic unlike anything we had felt before.”

The “Cake By The Ocean” singer gushed about the “beautiful walled garden” on the property and called the sight of the owner’s children enjoying a picnic in the garden “simply heavenly.”

“I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat,” the letter continues.

Two months before the couple split, they put a 10% deposit on the house and the sale is. due to be finalized in December.

“We could tell that your family have truly loved living here and we can envision our children growing up here and making this our forever home,” Jonas added in the letter before concluding, “I really think Sophie and I will be able to look after [redacted names] and for many years pay homage to the magic you have created here.”

Turner alleges she and Jonas spoke in late 2022 and “agreed and committed to relocate to England.” They then sold the Miami home that they were living in with their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1. The Game of Thrones actress claims that a lot of the family’s personal belongings were “shipped” to the UK between May 5 and July 31.

However, in the months since the letter was written Jonas has clearly changed his tune. Turner claims that Jonas has “refused” to return their daughters to the UK. Jonas filed for divorce from Turner on September 5 in Florida shortly before Turner sued for their daughters’ immediate return to the UK. Now the exes are locked in a battle over where their child custody case should be heard.

Jonas’ rep has hit back at Turner’s insinuation that he was “abducting” their kids and claimed the singer is open to raising his daughters “both in the US and the UK.”
