Phoebe Waller-Bridge might have just casually revealed that she’s engaged, with the British actress appearing to show off a new engagement ring over the weekend.
The new Indiana Jones star, 38, shot to international fame after her one-woman stage show from 2013, Fleabag, was adapted into a TV series by the BBC.
Shortly after her breakout performance, which won her numerous accolades, Phoebe began dating director and filmmaker Martin McDonagh, 53.
And it seems the two are now ready to tie the knot, with reporters and photographers spotting what appeared to be her engagement ring.
She was spotted wearing the ring at her brother Jasper’s wedding as he married Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery in a ceremony in Chiswick, London.
The presence of the huge diamond ring indicated strongly to those watching on that she’s now ready to marry her showbiz partner of six years.
Martin also attended the wedding with Phoebe as they both opted for summery looks, with Phoebe choosing a bright pink suit from Italian designer Etro.
McDonagh is most famous in public for directing movies such as In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Last year, he oversaw the Colin Farrell-starring and award-winning The Banshees of Inisherin, which also starred Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan.
The pair have supported each other at several awards shows and red carpet events over the years, including the Golden Globes earlier this year.
When discussing her relationship with Martin in Vanity Fair, she said: ‘It’s really useful being with someone who I think is a genius, it just ups your game.’
And the good news doesn’t stop there for the actress, who most recently appeared as a new companion in the most recent Indiana Jones movie.
According to reports in The Mail, Phoebe’s company PMWB Limited set up back in 2017, made nearly £16million in 2022 according to Companies House.
Last month, Phoebe surprised a comedian at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when she was one of just two people in the audience for a stand-up show.
She spent her weekend at the famous comedy gathering watching Hannah Maxwell’s one-woman show Nan, Me & Barbara Pravi.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s representatives have been contacted for clarification.
