The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have arrived and many stars made quite the statement on the pink carpet at this year’s show.

This year’s VMAs is being held at Prudential Center on September 12, 2023, in Newark, New Jersey and so far it is a wonderful mix of old and new with stars like Nelly Furtado and NSYNC making their returns to the show alongside today’s biggest names like Olivia Rodrigo.
A highlight of the night will no doubt be Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick’s NSYNC reunion as they all took the VMA stage to present Taylor Swift with the Best Pop award for “Anti-Hero.” Swift was every single one of us when she looked shocked and sobbed upon seeing the pop icons!
In terms of this year’s nominees, Taylor Swift leads the pack with 11 nods, mainly for her self-directed “Anti-Hero” video. Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj are also among the stars hoping to bring a moonman home this year.
The event boasts an impressive lists of performers across genres, from Nicki Minaj to Shakira, NSYNC to Olivia Rodrigo and more.
While the show continues to get underway, lets focus on the important stuff for now — the fashion, duh! The VMAs is known for its daring red carpet fashion and this year was no different, nominees embraced making a statement and stepped out in embellished outfits filled with color and sparkle.
