Following its release of leopard print sandals earlier this month, WAKO MARIA returns with another collaboration with tattoo artist Tim Lehi.
Lehi honed his craft under the legendary tattoo artist Ed Hardy and went on to open the tattoo studio “Black Heart Tattoo” in San Francisco. His distinct style which fuses Japanese elements has created a considerable cult following across the world including artists and rock musicians.
The relationship between WACKO MARIA and Tim Lehi stretches back to 2018, and for this year’s Spring/Summer 2021 release, we have a lineup of Hawaiian shirts, T-shirts and shorts marked with Lehi’s drawings. Open-collared Hawaiian shirts are available in two tiger motif patterns and an eerie poisonous print in which a skeleton and woman are embraced. Matching tiger emblazoned shorts compliment the Hawaiian tops. The T-shirts have Tim Lehi’s logo printed on the front chest, and a tiger and skull motif graphic printed on the back. Each piece is built to stand out in your summer rotations.
WACKO MARIA x Tim Lehi’s collaboration items will range from ¥12,100 JPY (approximately $110 USD) to ¥44,000 JPY (approximately $397 USD) and will be available from June 26 on WACKO MARIA’s website and other authorized retailers.
