Continuing his video series, YouTuber Jet Bent-Lee once again tasked his father to reimagine a familiar fast food into a gourmet meal. His father, Susur Lee, is best known for his appearances on Top Chef and intense battles on the Food Network‘s Iron Chef America. Making a name for himself in the culinary world with his restaurants fueled by his eclectic culinary style described as “fusion cuisine.”
This time around, Lee was tasked to turn instant noodles into a gourmet meal. Offered three instant noodle varieties, the chef crafted an Italian-inspired crispy noodle cake topped with a creamy rosé with lobster and shrimp. The only requirement for the challenge was that Lee had to use at least one soup packet to season his dish.
