Aldi shoppers rush to buy £6 dupe of iconic designer perfume for £214 less – and it’s ‘absolutely gorgeous’ | The Sun

ALDI shoppers have been rushing to buy a £6 dupe for an iconic designer perfume that costs an eye-watering £220.

The discount supermarket is selling its own version of a popular Killian scent – but for £214 less.

Aldi's Lacura Intense Passion costs just £5.99 for a 100ml bottle.

Shoppers have called the bargain perfume a "dead ringer" for Killian's Love Don't Be Shy – which costs £220 just for 50ml.

One bargain hunter posted on the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook page: "Can anyone tell me please what this perfume dupe is meant to be? It's lovely."

They shared a photo of the recently purchased Aldi perfume in its box.

Another helpful Aldi fan shared a post of the Intense Passion perfume as well as the two other scents in the collection.

They said: "Amazing Aldi dupes in at the moment – the red one is Baccarat, the white is Gentle Fluidity I believe and the black is a dead ringer for Love Don't Be Shy by Killian!"

The new perfumes have flooded Facebook groups over the past few days since shoppers first noticed them in store.

A smaller 50ml bottle of the Killian fragrance costs a whopping £220 on the official website.

It means that Aldi's bargain scent saves a huge £214 and you get 50ml more in the bottle too.

The Love Don't Be Shy is said to be "exhilarating and unforgettable" notes of orange blossom absolute, honeysuckle and rose.

Shoppers can find Aldi's perfume in store or if your store has click and collect you can pop it in your virtual basket too.

To find your nearest store and if it has click and collect head over to the Aldi website.

Each store will have its own stock of the scents and these kinds of items tend to sell-out pretty quickly.

It's always worth phoning ahead to your local store to check how many they have available.

It's always worth having a sniff first to make sure you like the smell before purchasing and do bear in mind that dupes don't tend to last as long as the designer spray.

As always, make sure to have a shop around before you commit to a purchase to make sure you're always getting the best deal.
