PARENTS can scoop up LOL Surprise Lil toys for pennies as Asda has slashed the cost by almost 90 per cent.
An eagle-eyed shopper in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook spotted the toys on sale at the supermarket for just 70p, down from £5.
That's a sweet £4.30 discount. Sadly, Asda has told The Sun this isn't a nationwide offer, but it is yet to confirm whether the dolls are only available in certain regions.
In the meantime, your best bet would be to give your local store a ring or pop down to see whether you can nab the bargain yourself.
The shopper said she bought the toys in Asda's branch in Bangor, North Wales, while her friend got them in Asda's LLangefni branch on the Isle of Anglesey, also in Wales.
The toys are also available on Asda's website, although for the price tag of £5.
Asda has 645 stores across the UK. You can find your nearest one using its store locator tool.
The toys include a LOL Surprise Lil doll and five accessories.
It comes in a hair curler package that you can dip in water to make it change colour.
The deal at Asda is the cheapest one we could find, but if you miss the boat, you can pick them up elsewhere.
Argos, for example, is selling them for £4.99, while they'd set you back £6.99 each at Smyths Toys or £7 at Thetoyshop.com.
Amazon is even pricier selling them for £10.15.
Parents can pick up LOL Surprise look-a-like toys for a fifth of the price at Argos.
Earlier this year, we reported how a mum has blasted a pack of kids' LOL Surprise trading cards – claiming the cartoon tots were dressed "like prostitutes and wearing BDSM gear".
The kids' toy brand launched three new products in February and prices start at £14.99.
