Love Island bombshell Lucinda Strafford entered the villa with a bang last week, and we’ve all been ever so slightly obsessed with her since.
While the men got grafting to get some one-on-one time with the 21 year old, Twitter had better things to think about – including the uncanny resemblance between Lucinda and series six Islander Molly Smith.
“Does anyone agree that Lucinda really looks like Molly Smith?” asks one viewer on Twitter, while another states: “Lucinda is LITERALLY a carbon copy of Molly Smith from last year.”
A third comments: “Season 6 Molly and Lucinda be looking like the same person.”
The two Islanders do share some very similar characteristics. Both are of course blonde, but they also have similar eye colours and nose shapes, and a matching sense of style.
Since Molly decided to couple up with villa hunk Callum Jones, despite concern over him ditching her shortly after they returned from Casa Amor, her circumstances are very similar to Lucinda’s, as she seems to be risking it with serial dumper Brad.
"Lucinda is too easily impressed. She may be stunning but if she likes Brad then they're probably well suited. She might be the Molly to his Callum," one fan says, analysing the situation.
Despite fans' worries about Brad’s intentions with Lucinda, the labourer does seem incredibly enamoured with the Brighton native. No doubt he’ll be shooting his shot tonight in the recoupling – if another lad doesn’t get in there first, that is.
Prior to entering the villa, Lucinda dated a famous face – premiership football star Aaron Connolly. The couple were together for two years before calling it quits.
Before this year’s series began, a source told The Sun: “They’ve seen each other, been at each other’s houses and had dinner, but over the last couple of days she has told a few people she’s going to be on Love Island and now Aaron knows and isn’t very happy. They have argued about her going in.”
We hope Aaron has his eyes safely closed tonight then, as recoupling sparks are no doubt set to fly.
