Inside Good Morning Britains Andi Peters house as he shares rare peek at garden

Andi Peters has graced our screens with his playful personality for decades, and you'll likely catch a glimpse of him most mornings in his competitions presenter role on Good Morning Britain.

The television star, 51, who previously joined Rochelle Humes in taking over presenting duties on This Morning, started out as a children’s TV host and has since appeared on a range of shows, making him a very well known personality on our screens.

However, when Andi isn’t on our screens he can be found relaxing at his stylish London home, which comes with a gorgeous garden.

Andi gave fans a glimpse inside his abode during lockdown and also transformed his garage into a makeshift ITV studio.

The star, who often jets off to enviable locations around the globe for his presenter duties, quipped: “I do it with my slippers on this is such a revelation.

“This is going to be a hard toss up, between me going back to the Bahamas, or nah I'll just go to the garage.

“I can put a wash on when I want to and make toast when I want to!”

We also got a peek at Andi’s garden as the star was soaked by sprinklers during a rather unfortunate incident on Good Morning Britain.

Before appearing live on air, Andi revealed that his automatic sprinklers had been activated leaving him “literally drenched.”

“Good morning we just had a rather unfortunate incident with the automatic sprinklers, I am literally drenched!” Andi told fellow presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

And it looks as though Andi is very green fingered, as his garden is filled with flowers and plants galore.

He recently appeared again in the luscious space while introducing a competition, and we caught a glimpse of his foliage and garden bench.

As well as being a dab hand at gardening, Andi also knows a thing or two about baking it seems and lockdown saw the popular presenter baking scones galore.

Taking to Twitter, Andi showed his 357,000 followers a series of Saturday and Sunday morning bakes, from croissants to scones and bagels.

He's also a big fan of cooking, and shares a look at the dishes he's rustled up with his 79,000 Instagram followers most evenings.

Andi, who contracted shingles back in January, appeared in the third series of Celebrity MasterChef on BBC so it’s hardly a surprise he’s a keen baker.

The star is notoriously quiet about his private life, although it is believed he currently lives alone.

There aren’t records of Andi ever having been married and he last confirmed his relationship back in 2016 when he revealed he was single.

Andi started out on The Broom Cupboard; a children’s BBC programme, and, in this, he worked alongside reputable presenter Phillip Schofield.

He then presented Live & Kicking, a highly popular children’s TV show which rocketed Andi’s fame, after he finished his presenter duties on The Broom Cupboard.

The fun loving presenter has worked across Good Morning Britain and Lorraine as a presenter of the competition slots for a long time and he’s also became the Dancing on Ice Live tour host in 2007.

The presenter is thought to be worth a whopping £3.1 million as a result of his TV career.
