When it comes to cooking, let's admit it garlic is so necessary.
It works for most meals and gives such an incredible kick to home cooking.
But that being said, preparing it in the kitchen can often become quite a bit of a faff.
Posting on Facebook in the Budget Friendly Meals Australia group, a mum has revealed one very handy trick for dealing with garlic.
She told how she bulk buys garlic when it's on offer in the supermarkets.
Then rather than rushing to use it all up, she pops them in a food processor and freezes them into cubes.
It's quite handy actually as it means you don't have to prep the garlic every time you need it in your food.
She explained: "I buy a lot of it then pop it in a food processor and blend until fine then add oil and blend until smooth.
"I pop it into ice cube trays and freeze then pop them out and put into a container or Ziploc.
"I use them in everything but I don't have time to freshly mince some every time. This is just a time saver for those who need it."

You can also buy minced garlic in jars in the supermarket, but the mum claims her "game-changing" trick comes with stronger flavour.
She continued: "Minced jar garlic has nothing on fresh garlic. I can't stand the taste of the stuff in the jar."
The mum also revealed how she has the same approach when it comes to herbs, chilli and ginger.
She says they turn out "perfect from freezer to pot". Sounds yum! We might have to try that now.
