DEAR DEIDRE: MY wife is very sly around her phone and laptop. It’s ringing alarm bells.
I am 29, she is 28 and we have a little girl aged two. My wife is often on her phone or laptop all day, though she doesn’t have a job.
In the evenings she likes to go upstairs, leaving me looking after our daughter. If I go up and surprise her, she acts startled.
I can see by her body language something is going on and she quickly shuts down the laptop or phone.
Sex is like a once-a-month chore and she doesn’t want to kiss or cuddle.
I’ve asked her if I’m doing something wrong but she just says she’s tired. I’m worried she doesn’t want me or is talking to someone else.

DEIDRE SAYS: You need to have a serious talk with your wife and not allow yourself to be fobbed off.
Say your relationship is dying from neglect.
If she spends all day on a screen when she should be with your little girl, that is very damaging for your daughter too.
Ask her to share what she is doing online and what she sees as the way back for your relationship.
My e-leaflet Your Relationship MoT will help.
