Newly-crowned “Sexiest Man Alive” Paul Rudd was spotted at Valerie restaurant and bar in Midtown this week — with a group including his “Ant-Man” co-star Bobby Cannavale and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor Joe Lo Truglio, spies told us.

A source told Page Six that the group arrived at about 8p.m. and stayed till midnight.

“They sat upstairs and were enjoying a variety of signature cocktails and entrees,” the source said, adding that, “Rudd took the time to smile and say hello to everyone.” Hey, why not?

The source also told us that diners at the eatery were energized to have sexy man Rudd in their midst after his People Magazine accolade.

Rudd was also in town this week appearing on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

On the talk show, the “This Is 40” star quipped to Colbert of a recent piece in The Post titled, “Sorry, Paul Rudd is many things – but the Sexiest Man Alive is not one of them,” “Hey, that might be the first thing I ever read in The New York Post that I agree with.”

Touché!

Then again, Rudd has also admitted that his own wife, producer Julie Yaeger, disagreed with his being named sexiest man.

“She would have voted for Keanu Reeves,” he joked to “Extra.” “Come on, he’s Keanu, I’d vote for him.”

The “Matrix” franchise star has surprisingly never nabbed the sexiest man title — though he was reportedly up for the accolade back in 1994.

Meanwhile, Rudd, 52, also told People of winning the honor: “I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, ‘What?’ This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.”

Rudd’s rep didn’t comment.
