Pippa Middleton and James Matthews married at St Mark’s Church in Englefield. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, attended the glamourous event.
Pippa looked beautiful walking down the aisle in a Giles Deacon dress and a handmade Maidenhair Fern tiara.
A source explained that was the wedding “Pippa and James dreamed of”.
“They said all along they wanted it to be a private family wedding at home in the beautiful countryside with their closest friends and family,” the source told People.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the event, as well as Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry.
After the ceremony at St Mark’s Church, family and friends enjoyed a reception followed by a party.
The reception’s menu included mini haggis, deer carpaccio, langoustine claws and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce.
The evening party featured a light show and fun games.
When it was time to sit down for dinner, guests were surprised to find an unconventional wedding seating chart.
Pippa decided not to use the traditional wedding seating rule and instead, came up with a unique seating plan.
Kate’s sister wanted to make sure all the guests spent time together and got to know each other at her wedding.
That is why couples were not seated with one another.
Therefore, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were not seated together.
The same happened to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Although the Duchess of Sussex didn’t go to the ceremony, reports claimed she snuck undetected into Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding reception.
Despite the unusual seating plan, the guests were delighted with the wedding and no one seemed to mind.
Many claimed the wedding was gorgeous.
Guest Gemma Billington explained: “It was a wonderful, memorable evening.”
Since their wedding in 2017, Pippa and James have had two children together: Arthur and Grace.
The family now live in their £17million mansion in Chelsea, London.
