B&M is to shut another shop within hours in the latest blow to the high street.
The bargain retailer is to close its store in English Street, Cumbria, today and it has launched a huge closing down sale.
Shoppers have been rushing to take advantage of the big discounts, with many saying they "need to go" and check it out themselves.
But the store has now increased the discount on all of its items from 25% to 50%.
A post on Facebook said: "B&M English street closing down sale is going to 50% off as from Friday, September 22."
Fans of the discounter were quick to comment, with one saying they were "gutted" to learn that it was closing, while others were itching to get their hands on some bargains.

It is not yet known if the store will be relocating to another nearby location.
It's not the first time that B&M has hosted major discounts before closing down stores.
When its Newport shop closed in Wales back in February, it hosted a huge 75% off sale before shutting its doors for good.
There were similar discounts at a B&M store located in Rugby's Clock Towers Shopping Centre when it closed in 2021.
And before that shoppers from Slough benefitted from a similar price cut frenzy as a separate closing down sale took effect at a B&M store in the area.
The Cumbria closure comes following several shops shutting and relocating this year:
- Castlegate Shopping Centre, Stockton – Feb 25
- Maesglas Retail Park, Newport, Wales – March 4
- Boucher Road, Belfast – March 26
- Queens Drive Retail Park, Kilmarnock – March 26
- Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Bristol – March 29
- Widness – May 17
- Burnden Retail Park store in Bolton – May 24
- Kiln Lane, Reading – August 19
It's not all bad news though because the discount chain has opened dozens of new sites this year.
They included new stores in Southport, Glasgow, Liverpool, Eastbourne and Stockton.
The retailer currently has more than 650 stores across the country.
The new stores openings are as follows:
- Hawley Road, Hinckley – September 23
- Trostre, Llanell – September 23
- Robin Park, Wigan – September 29
- Faraday, Newbury – October 7
- Fort Parkway, Birmingham – October 14
- Monks Cross – October 18
- Chatteris – October 25
- Gateshead (Store expansion) – October 28
- Manor Walks, Cramlington – November 11
How can I save money at B&M?
While a closing down sale offers big discounts on already bargain prices, there are still ways to save at B&M every other day too.
The B&M barcode scanner app allows you to discover discounted items before the staff has even reduced them.
The scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.
Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.
Once you've got the app, click on the "scan" button at the bottom of your homepage.
This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you'll need to use to scan barcodes.
When you've found a product you want to scan, simply point your smartphone camera toward its barcode.
The app will then automatically bring up the item's price – this is when you'll know if it is reduced or not.
Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.
Shoppers should also keep an eye out for products with a white reduction sticker on.
This means they will have a certain amount slashed off the price shown on the label.
Shop for products at the end of the season – we've seen shoppers make huge savings this way.
