You can buy Creme Eggs filled with chocolate creme this Easter

Easter is the best time of year for chocolate fans – and now it’s even better.

If you’re a chocoholic and love a good Creme Egg then your mind is about to be blown.

You can now buy a Cadbury Creme Egg with a smooth chocolate creme centre rather than the usual coloured fondant.

We can’t wait to give it a try!

The Chocolate Creme Egg is usually only available in the United States, but treats website GB gifts is offering imported eggs for just £1.99.

There are only 400 Chocolate Creme Eggs in stock so you’ll need to hurry up if you want to get your hands on one.

And, over on the GB Gifts Instagram page, fans are going wild for the special edition eggs.

One person commented: “These are epic!”

“Oh my days,” added another.

While a third noted: “This looks way better than normal Creme Eggs".

However, some Creme Egg obsessives were a little divided by the chocolate version of their favourite snack.

“This is sacrilege,” added one fan.

There are a number of Creme Egg varieties around the world – the chocolate version has been sold in the US since 1999!

A cookie dough Creme Egg was once sold in Canada, but in the UK we’re treated to the Oreo Creme Egg and Caramel Creme Egg.

They cost just £1.50 for a multipack of five eggs at Asda – that’s just 30p per egg.

Don’t mind us… we’re just going to stockpile Creme Eggs for the rest of the year!
