Andrea Bocelli’s children have very much inherited their father’s talent for singing. His 25-year-old son Matteo Bocelli has released a series of singles this year ahead of his solo debut album in 2023. And the Italian tenor’s daughter Virginia Bocelli made her professional debut at just 8-years-old, when she sang Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah with her father.

Both Matteo and Virginia have become regular guests on Andrea Bocelli’s tours and the trio have now released their first family album together.

A Family Christmas is out now and features a number of covers and a new song called The Greatest Gift.

One highlight is the 10-year-old rising star’s rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, as made famous by Judy Garland’s version in The Wizard of Oz.

Virginia sings the duet with her father, including live on tour, as captured in Sheffield in a new video.
