Axl Rose Credits Boots for Preventing Ankle Injury After Nasty Stage Fall

The Guns N’ Roses frontman suffered a nasty tumble when he began walking backwards during a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ at a Las Vegas concert.

AceShowbiz -Rock veteran Axl Rose has shaken off a nasty tumble he suffered onstage in Las Vegas on Friday, November 1.

The Guns N’ Roses frontman was belting out the band’s classic cover of Bob Dylan‘s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace when he began walking backwards and slipped up mid-song.

However, in video footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ, Axl appeared to be uninjured as he jumped straight back to his feet to continue with the track, before running off to the side of the stage to fetch a towel and wipe down the area.

The singer has since taken to Twitter to thank fans for their concern, admitting he was saved by his choice of footwear.

Axl Rose thanked fans for their wishes.

“Thank you for all the best wishes and, if I hadn’t had the boots, the straps n’ everything I do for my ankles it would’ve been worse”.
