Coronation Street’s Hadyn Holden undergoes huge transformation into bodybuilder

Former Coronation Street star Hadyn Holden has shown off his incredible body transformation after undergoing an intense gym routine.

Hadyn is famed for his role as Rhydian Chivers, Sean Tulley's mentor in the beauty products business in the hit soap.

The actor took to his Instagram to share before and after pics of his physique after deciding to tone up after the lockdowns.

The after picture showed the star’s drastically ripped body after he hit the gym three times a week for eight weeks and reduced his body fat down to just 9%.

After 24 sessions at the Ultimate Performance personal training gym in Manchester, which included full bodyweight exercises, he was able to drop his weight from 67kg to 64kg.

Opening up about the benefits of his transformation, Hadyn wrote: "Clearly there’s a body transformation but I promise you, the impact of the mental health benefits are far greater. It’s not for everyone and people have their own routines and preferences but for me, I highly recommend and I’d do it again in a heartbeat! #gymmotivation.”

He gushed about the gym, saying it’s a place where he didn’t feel intimidated and heaped praise on personal trainer, Nathan Edmundson.

He said: "One of the best things I’ve ever done and it’s all thanks to a fantastic guy called Nathan Edmundson @nathan__up He’s informative and knowledgable who continued and encouraged to get the best out of me inside and outside of working hours. It was an absolute pleasure to be his client!”

Hadyn had always trained by himself in the past and did not see any results.

After training with resistance bands in lockdown he got bored and wanted to get back into a gym as soon as they opened earlier this year.

As well as regularly visiting the gym, he also underwent a huge diet overhaul, by weighing his proteins, carbohydrates and fat sources before cooking.

One of the biggest drivers of his fat loss was actually walking 10,000-plus steps.
