Dan Walker has revealed why fans don't want to see his former co-star Louise Minchin in the morning.
The beloved duo presented BBC Breakfast together for five and a half years before Louise departed the programme in September 2021 following 20 years at the broadcaster.
It wasn't long before Dan, 45, followed suit, announcing in April that he would be bowing out from the show after six years, presenting on the red sofa for the final time in May.

Speaking about his close friendship with Louise, 54, Dan revealed that they still speak often but couldn't resist taking a cheeky swipe at his former co-star.
At the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday (October 24), the Channel 5 star exclusively told Daily Star: "I do I still speak to Sally and Carol a lot.
"I saw Louise at the NTAs last week or the week before last. I think particularly when you get up at that time in the morning with people you form a really strong friendship."
The newsreader added: "If Louise hadn't had her triple espresso at five to six… You don't want to see Louise in the morning before her espresso. Trust me!"
Dan, who starred in the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, also revealed on the red carpet that he often chats to Helen Skelton who is currently taking part in the BBC dance competition.
He said: "I know Helen Skelton really well and I've been talking to her quite a bit and I think he's been fantastic and I told her she's going to be there for quite some time."
"She rang me the week before she went on and I told her you have to go into it with her eyes wide open," the news anchor continued.
Speaking about his own time on the show, Dan added: "From my experience of it you have to enjoy it as much as you can and you never want to finish it and think 'Ugh, I wish I allowed myself to enjoy it more'."
