Migos rapper Takeoff's death in a shooting on Tuesday morning (November 1) has prompted tributes from stars of the music world.
The musician, 28, who made up one-third of the group Migos alongside Offset and Quavo, was killed after a reported altercation at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas.
A 23-year-old male and 24-year-old female were also hurt in the argument that led to the death of the star, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, Houston Police Department confirmed.

Drake, who had featured on the band's hit song Walk It Talk It, wrote on Instagram : "Takeoff is an incredible man and a beautiful person all around.
"@yrntakeoff energy was always beautiful filled wit so much love and so much great energy @yrntakeoff we love you brother."
Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland wrote: "Keeping his family in my prayers!! There are no words…," while singer-songwriter Tayana Taylor said: "Please tell me this is just a bad dream pleaseeeeeeee. I don’t want to believe this lil bro please."
Rapper Ja Rule commented on Twitter with: "Rip Takeoff… this s— has to STOP… sending love to friends and family," while Outkast added: "Rest in peace, Takeoff. Sending our deepest condolences and prayers to his family, friends and community of people touched by his craft."
YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul said: "Senseless killings need to stop. Need to unify. RIP TAKEOFF. To all the youth… put down the guns and pick up some boxing gloves to settle your differences. Violence is not the answer."

Kylie Jenner, who is dating musician Travis Scott wrote on an Instagram Story: "So many prayers. God cover this family. Heartbreaking. Gone too soon. Devastating."
The incident is said to have happened as the star was playing dice when a fight broke out. Police were called to the shooting at 2:34am, but Takeoff was dead when officers arrived.
Takeoff and Migos rose to fame in 2013 with their hit single Versace, and following the band's split earlier this year Quavo and Takeoff performed under the name Unc & Phew, releasing an album last month titled Only Built for Infinity Links.
