Ed Sheeran teases fans about sex life and hints hes joined the Mile High Club

Ed Sheeran fans may get more of a mental image than they bargained for when listening to his new album.

Ed, 30, released the album – titled Equals and stylised with the symbol: “=“ yesterday (Friday 29th October).

It has already received critical acclaim, with even the previously disparaging music critic Will Hodgkinson writing in The Times: "I have run out of rude things to say about him."

On Equals, Ed's first full studio album since 2017’s Divide – there's a racy track titled Collide.

Through his lyrics, Ed – who has been married to 29-year-old consultant Cherry Seaborn since 2019 – sings: “We made love in the sky, overslept and missed the Northern Lights.”

He then adds: “We’ve watched the blossom fall to earth like snow, fumbled in cubicles in Tokyo.”

Earlier this month, Cherry appeared in one of his music videos for the new track First Times.

In the footage, fans saw the couple kissing and laughing together in a cute PDA.

Ed has said he would love to have more children, after he and Cherry welcomed their daughter, Lyra, in September last year.

He said in an interview: “I’d love more kids man, I’d love it, but it does all depend on what Cherry wants too because it’s her body,

“I’m really proud of Cherry as a mother. She’s such an incredible human, I’m just in awe.”

The singer also recently revealed that his unhealthy eating habits caused him to balloon to 15 and a half stone before he had a much-needed lifestyle change.

The Galway Girl hitmaker found himself at his heaviest after finishing his last tour and gorging himself on chicken wings, sweet snacks and fried food.

His loneliness caused him to also indulge in heavy drinking, swapping a healthier diet for wine and beer and slacking off when it came to exercise.

The wake-up call came for him when his wife Cherry fell pregnant with his daughter Lyra Antarctica and he realised that his unhealthy habits could have long-term effects.

Ed's Mathematics stadium tour kicks off in Belfast in May next year.
