Kylie Minogue’s Glastonbury set is about to get emotional.
The star recently confessed that she will shed a tear during the night, as it marks 14 years since her battle with breast cancer.
Speaking about her upcoming performance, the Especially For You songstress confessed she might have a lump in her throat.
And we think we will have too!
She told The Mirror: ‘I will remember what happened those years ago and my overriding feeling will just be of gratitude and, how fragile life can be.
‘Will there be tears? Absolutely. Let’s just say I will be wearing waterproof mascara.’
Back in 2005, the 51-year-old had to pull out from headlining the Pyramid Stage following her diagnosis.
Talking about her feelings at the time, the pint-sized popstar added: ‘I would have been one of the only female solo artists in the festival’s history to headline.
‘I really thought I missed my opportunity and, as the years went by, I said to myself, “Well this just isn’t going to happen”.’
But it has, and the Red Blooded Woman songstress will be doing her thing during the legends slot.
Announcing the news earlier this year, the superstar told her followers: I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing the ‘Legend slot’ on Sunday 30th June at @glastofest 2019.
‘It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now.’
She continued: ‘I can’t wait to see you all there to share this special show.’
Just recently, Kylie addressed her fight, and how having cancer ruined her chances of becoming a mother.
‘I don’t want to dwell on it,’ she admitted to The Sunday Times Magazine: ‘But I wonder what that would have been like [to be a mother].’
‘Everyone will say there are options, but I don’t know. I’m 50 now, and I’m more at ease with my life.’
She added: ‘I can’t say there are no regrets, but it would be very hard for me to move on if I classed that as a regret, so I just have to be as philosophical about it as I can.’
