Paddy McGuinness overjoyed at 3 stone weight gain and is ‘feeling stronger’

Paddy McGuinness has put on three stone – and he's over the moon about it.

The 46-year-old Top Gear presenter took to his Instagram page to show off a before and after snap of his dramatic transformation which happened within the space of a year.

Posting two snaps alongside one another, the dad-of-three posed in a similar style, glazing into the camera lens and went on to inform his 1.6million followers that he feels a lot "stronger" following his three stone gain.

Paddy, 46, who shot to fame in 1995 as a contestant on the game show God's Gift captioned his snap: "Look at the difference!

"I definitely feel better with a bit of weight on me. There's 12 months between these pics."

He went on to add: "I stripped right back to 12 stone, felt fit but looked ill.

"I'm now 15 stone and feeling stronger, having said that none of my suits fit me anymore!!! #thursday #weightloss #weightgain #beforeandafter #thin #curvy"

Paddy was instantly inundated with replies from his loyal fans, while wife Christine McGuinness commented: "Better now" alongside a heart-eye emoji and love heart.

One fan commented: "Like a fine wine… Very tasty."

While a second went on to say: "Nice to see someone celebrating weight gain, for a change!"

TV funnyman Keith Lemon commented: "Man alive! Better now Paddy!"

Paddy previously fronted the popular show, Take Me Out which was axed at the start of February.

The show which aired on ITV saw single men reveal themselves from the "love lift" before attempting to secure a date with one of the lucky female contestants.

Take Me Out went on to produce eight weddings and six babies.

Despite no longer presenting on ITV, Paddy remains a popular TV figure and presents Top Gear alongside Freddie Flintoff.

This weeks episode will see him "take full ownership of his midlife crisis".
