Yesterday marked Sir Ringo Starr’s 80th birthday and to celebrate The Beatles drummer streamed an hour-long charity show on his YouTube channel. The music legend introduced concert clips of some of his friends before ending with one featuring a Beatles reunion with Sir Paul McCartney. Sir Ringo started off by joking his Big Birthday Show was over prior to sharing the incredible concert clip.
The Beatles reunion took place last year at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on July 13, 2019.
After all, the concert was Sir Paul’s final one of his Freshen Up tour.
And as he’s done before, the singer-songwriter invited Sir Ringo on stage to play some Beatles hits.
In the Big Birthday Show, fans can check out the two surviving members of the Fab Four performing Helter Skelter from 1968’s The White Album.

Yesterday, Sir Paul paid tribute to Sir Ringo by wishing him a very happy 80th birthday.
Sharing a snap of The Beatles drummer in-between some colourful curtains, the 76-year-old wrote: “Happy birthday SIR RICHARD alias RINGO.
“Have a great day my long time buddy! – Paul.”

Sir Ringo’s latest solo album, 2019’s What’s My Name, featured Sir Paul singing backing vocals and playing the bass guitar.
The song in question was a cover of John Lennon’s Grow Old with Me.
The album also features a solo version of Money (That’s What I Want), a Motown song previously recorded by The Beatles.
While last week saw Sir Ringo encouraging fans to wear face masks by sharing a John Lennon Abbey Road meme.

While the Abbey Road meme saw John Lennon turning around on the Abbey Road zebra crossing album cover and walking back to the studio.
George Harrison asks him: “What happened?”
To which John Lennon replies: “I forgot my mask…”
This year would have marked John Lennon’s 80th birthday too.
The late Beatle was born on October 9, 1940.
However, he was tragically assassinated 40 years ago on December 8, 1980.
A new documentary featuring unseen interviews and celebrating his final year is released later this year.
