A PLACE in the Sun fans almost reached for the remote after the latest episode aired.
Host of the Channel 4 show Ben Hillman met with mother and daughter duo Michelle and Charlotte to hopefully help them find their dream home abroad.
The family unit had a passion for Lanzarote in the Canary Islands and after holidaying there for over 14 years, they decided they wanted to purchase a holiday home in the sun.
Husband Paul stayed home in the UK as host Ben took the pair around several house options on Tuesday's outing of A Place in the Sun.
With a budget of £110,000 data management consultant Michelle thought a home abroad would be not only nice for her friends and family, but it would be a way to help remember her late mother, who had not long passed away from cancer at the time of filming and who had left her some money.
As the episode started, some viewers had a sense of deja vu however.

It might have been the interesting way that Ben pronounced Charlotte, but onlookers soon realised they had already seen the episode.
As soon as it clicked, spectators took to social media to air their thoughts on the rerun.
A disgruntled viewer tweeted: "We ALL remember this one #aplaceinthesun."
Another jabbed: "Just switched on….not these 2 again #aplaceinthesun."

"Good job #aplaceinthesun doesn't pay royalties, these two would be quids in," a third commented.
Fans soon realised the episode had in fact, been on several times since it first aired in early 2022.
One viewer joked: "Shar-lott #aplaceinthesun," as an onlooker set a challenge on the pronunciation of her name and said: "Afternoon Placers Chuckles today in Lanzarote…. take a shot everyone he calls the daughter Shar-Lott."
The third property blew the family, and after parting with £120,000, their offer was accepted.
A Place In The Sun continues weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
