This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! line-up is complete as it’s been claimed that BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North is the last star to join the cast.
According to reports made by The Sun, the 30-year-old presenter has been ‘confirmed’ for the show just 10 days before the eclectic group of celebrities head to Wales to begin the series.
Jordan is said to be the 12th and final star lined up for the show.
From September 2020, Jordan was announced as the new regular 11am-1pm weekend host on BBC Radio 1.
He is also the main cover presenter for Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw, and has been dubbed the ‘supply teacher’.
Jordan also co-presents the comedy-agony-aunt podcast Help I Sexted My Boss together with friend and etiquette expert William Hanson.
I’m A Celebrity’s unconfirmed line-up also boasts the likes of EastEnders favourite Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer, Olympics legend Mo Farah and Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard.
BBC broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire and presenter Vernon Kay were also tipped to join the programme.
Former Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard, actress Ruthie Henshall, Paralympian Hollie Arnold and tenor Russell Watson have also been linked.
ITV has yet to formally announce which celebrities will be taking on the notoriously gruesome Bushtucker Trials.
On Wednesday, Towie star Mario Falcone appeared to confirm reports that his sister Giovanna Fletcher has signed up to this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
It was claimed the podcaster, author and mum-of-three, who is married to McFly’s Tom Fletcher, was a last-minute addition to the cast, and Mario tweeted that he’s excited to see her on the show.
Coronavirus restrictions have forced the I’m A Celebrity to relocate from New South Wales in Australia to Gwyrch Castle in Abergele, Wales, this year.
Many feared the new lockdown restrictions would cause issues for the series, but it’s been confirmed the show will go on.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Jordan’s rep for comment.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns Sunday 15th November at 9pm on ITV.
